really didn't appreciate this album enough on first listen. equal parts horrifying and beautiful subtle soundscape and a cool departure from even the softest of cxdr-era cuts <3
Favorite track: to face oblivion and smile.
I've listened to many covers of songs from this album, but this is my first time listening to the originals. I have to say it's blend of IDM, post-rock, and indie folk is unlike anything I've ever heard before. I love the heart-wrenching lyrics as well. ganondox
